Touch a human brain, see some incredible neuroscience art, and chat with graduate and medical school students at Grey Matters’ Dawg Daze Event! As always, everyone is invited, regardless of major, year, or background in science.
Our event will take place on September 27th from 10 AM - 12 PM in Savery Hall 260 (SAV 260).
10:05-10:45 AM — Brain Demonstration: Join us with Professors Sam Golden and Kate Mulligan to learn about the anatomy of a human brain as they show off a real brain!
10:45-10:55 AM — Introduction to Grey Matters: Hear about what we do at Grey Matters and the wide variety of opportunities for you to get involved and find your own niche!
11:00-11:40 AM — Graduate and Medical Student Panel: Learn about what it's like to be a graduate or medical school student at the University of Washington during this free-for-all Q&A session.
11:40-12:00 PM — Art Gallery and Open Q&A with Leadership Members: Check out some of our artists' beautiful work! Additionally, get information from leadership team about what it's like to be a member of Grey Matters, and any general advice you'd like or questions you have.
Come learn more about what Grey Matters is and how to get involved during this fun and interactive event! Feel free to stay for the whole event or simply drop in when you can.
